We’d love to host your Rally group at River’s End Campground & RV Park. Here’s what you need to know: Today’s camping environment requires planning sometimes a year in advance- the explosion of RV sales combined with a shortage of campgrounds, a classic supply and demand scenario, has caused campers to plan their trips early to ensure availability.
Size does matter; all of our sites are unique and have different max lengths, slide limitations, and RV-style accommodations. Over the years, we’ve not only seen an increase in more people camping in general but more families and friends camping at the same time which can limit a Rally’s date selection when availability dwindles. With that being said, we begin booking for the complete next calendar year annually on March 1st and would be happy to get something started for your group within our open calendar.
Guidelines for Hosting a Rally Group at River’s End Campground & RV Park
We welcome groups and offer discounted rates that vary depending on the season, the number of RVs in your group, and site availability. Groups interested in holding an event should contact Tiffany so we can address your group needs, check site availability, and offer you a wonderful experience. **Rally rates do not apply after Irish Heritage (in March) until beginning again in Mid-August (rally bookings begin on the Sunday closest to Aug 15th). A rally can only be held Sunday night through Thursday night. No rally rates are given during weekend, holiday or event dates.**
- To hold the number of sites needed to host an event with River’s End, the group reserving must provide a one-night security deposit at the applicable rate to hold each site for the duration of their stay. All reservations must be finalized within 90 days before the group’s scheduled arrival date.
- Please Note: Should the group cancel their outing the non-refundable deposit for the first night of each site will be forfeit.
- A general idea of what style RV and size is required before sites can be held for the group. As mentioned above all of our sites accommodate different types/sizes of RVs. This is to ensure we’re holding appropriately sized sites with the hope of including all of those who call to reserve with the Rally.
- If your members wish to make individual reservations, the group discount will apply only up to 90 days prior to the start date of the event. After this point, the group discount will not apply, and published rates are applicable. Should the number in your group fall below 13 paid camping units, the rate will revert to the full seasonal site rate.
- 90 days prior to the group arrival any sites being held but not reserved will be released for booking by the general public. Campground staff will still accept individual reservations for the event, but only at the published seasonal rate.
- Reservations made arriving before or departing after the agreed upon dates for the rally must be handled via individual reservations at published seasonal rates (no discounted rates) with the Campground staff. We will make every attempt to place the camper on the same site as during the group event but we cannot guarantee that the site will be available. For this reason, we would like to encourage an early phone call for individual reservations.
- There are no additional charges for the Screened Pavilion; however, we ask that your group leave the facilities clean and orderly upon your departure. River’s End will provide all maintenance equipment, brooms, garbage cans and liners, etc.. If requested pre-event meeting with a Campground Representative and Wagonmaster can be scheduled to go over the facilities and answer any questions that may arise. After each use of the Pavilion and/or community space it must be cleaned and garbage removed to deter pests. We suggest bringing a lock that can be switched out for ours during the duration of the groups use so there is no need to find a staff member for unlocking each time the Pavilion is to be accessed.
- All outside entertainment brought in by rally groups will be required to supply their own adequate sound system and associated A/V needs. No drums permitted with live music.
- It is the responsibility of the group organizer to organize any and all onsite events conducted and implemented on Campground property directly with any third party vendors, such as caterers, wedding planners, pizza parties, etc. River’s End Campground & RV Park staff is NOT responsible for any negotiation and/or implementation of service deliveries, etc.
- In the event that you have any questions, need to make reservations, check availability, or to discuss what we can do for you, please give us a call at 912-786-5518 and request to speak with Tiffany. There is a fillable form below for contact or send us an email to: riversend@cityoftybee.gov and enter ‘(Your Rally Name) Rally’ or Attn: Tiffany in the subject line of your email.
