We recommend following the directions below instead of relying on GPS, as GPS may route you through Historic Downtown Savannah, which can be congested and difficult to navigate with larger vehicles due to low hanging trees.
To River’s End Campground:
- From I-95, take exit 94 to GA 204 eastbound.
- Travel 10 miles on eastbound GA 204.
- Turn right onto northbound Harry Truman Parkway for approximately 8 miles.
- Take the last exit on the Parkway to President’s Street. Turn left on President’s Street for approximately 14 miles.
- When you come over the Lazaretto Creek Bridge you will see the Welcome to Tybee Island sign.
- Travel 1.6 miles and turn left on Polk Street. Continue on for two blocks and turn right on Fort Avenue which will bring you to our entrance.
Leaving River’s End Campground to I-95:
- Turn RIGHT onto Fort Avenue from the Campground Exit
- LEFT onto Polk Street
- RIGHT onto Hwy 80 West
- Merge RIGHT onto Islands Expressway (Turns into President St)
- Go about 6 miles
- RIGHT onto Harry Truman Parkway S
- Follow Truman Parkway to the end, for approximately 8 miles to Route 204
- LEFT at the end of Truman Parkway onto GA 204 Westbound. Follow until you see sign for I-95
